Hibachi is so much fun. It is especially fun seeing the reaction of diners watching their meals being prepared. Hokkaido Hibachi & Sushi in downtown Abacoa is where I usually end up if celebrating an occasion, ringing in the new year, or when I start to crave their fried rice. I usually start off with the fried dumplings. You are served 4 hearty pieces with dipping sauce. I then order the chicken hibachi with fried rice. When you order a hibachi dinner it comes with clear soup, house salad, a shrimp appetizer, vegetables and either steam or fried rice. Worth it???? I think so!! The chefs put on a great show as they prepare your meal. The food is delicious and the drinks always cold. They have a great happy hour that runs from 12:00pm-6:30pm weekdays and 4:00pm-6:30pm on Saturday and Sunday. There is also a separate sushi area if you want to forgo the hibachi. Afterward, if you are not too full, you can always stroll down the downtown area. The next time you are looking for a fabulous dinner with entertainment, or get that fried rice fix, check out Hokkaido Hibachi & sushi.
Update: Christmas is July at Roger Dean Stadium in Abacoa is TONIGHT! Why not bring the family down, eat at Hokkaido, and check out The Palm Beach Cardinals take on the St. Lucie Mets @ 5:30 p.m.. The stadium will be turned into a winter wonderland and maybe you’ll catch a glimpse of the big guy!
