Buy Me Some Peanuts and Cracker Jack

Take Me Out To The Ball Game… come on everybody! I made a couple of road trips up north to see the Port St. Lucie Mets play this season. I know that many of you in the local area are quite familiar with the Roger Dean stadium, but just a few exits north you will find First Data Field and the experience was well worth the 40 minute drive (and no, I wasn’t speeding). The ballpark is set up quite well where it allows you to walk the entire way around. They have plenty of table seating and even a space where they can host parties or special gatherings. The day I was there they were hosting a reunion, how fun! Anyway, the concessions are fabulous, the employees are delightful, and the beer is cold! They have fun little games set up and also a batting cage. I actually one 2 free tickets to another game. HOME RUN!

IMG_4560One of the best parts of the stadium is that they have an awesome tiki bar. Some people (who me?) just hang out here for the game rather than their seat. One day I went it was quite crowded, the other day not so much. Either way, don’t be afraid to mark your bar territory and don’t forget to tip your hard working bartenders. Here’s the view of the park from the tiki hut!

The stadium also has weekly specials (subject to change) including:
