Calling All Gym Rats & Fitness Enthusiasts! Another question that people (locals and holiday makers) keep asking us is where do we work off all this food we blog about and what’s a good spot to work out when visiting. Props to all of you that want to keep in shape. We love it! These are not by any means in any particular order, they are just some establishments that have motivated us, made our muscles sore, and may have kicked our blogging butts! We also included some freebie first timer options and who doesn’t love FREE! If you have a fitness establishment you’d like us to spotlight solo, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will definitely visit. It’s a long post, but hopefully your muscles will thank us!
Let us know which one you love!!!
Orange Theory – Many locations, two in Gardens, West Palm, Jensen, and the location I always find myself returning to is Stuart. (Shout out to Ronnie and Tabitha). The energy is invigorating and the workout is always changing, which totally keeps you on your feet. The Stuart location especially books up quickly, but you do get your first class free at any location! https://www.orangetheoryfitness.com/
Palm Beach County Bootcamp– Lake Park, this is a GREAT deal as they are ALWAYS running a Groupon, which is usually around $14 for 2 weeks! Boom! Make sure you check out Kyle’s morning classes. He rocks! If you aren’t into the 2-week commitment, that’s alright because Jared, the owner, hosts a FREE bootcamp for the public on Saturday mornings. This place definitely treats you like family! http://pbcbootcamp.com/
Fit Body Bootcamp– Many locations in the area including North Palm (the location I frequent the most). Here you can claim 3 FREE 30 minute workouts! Whoooo! Did someone say free and only 30 min? The staff are inspirational and Jodi, the owner, will definitely lead you on a rewarding future of fitness! They also tend to run Groupons, so check it out! https://www.fitbodybootcamp.com/
Loggerhead Fitness– A very well established gym in Juno Beach! I have actually never been here (insert lame excuse here), but I have heard nothing but awesome things and it’s right in my neighborhood! I contacted them once and the personal trailer replied immediately. They are always running specials and usually offer a week free! Winner, Winner! I’ll be there soon, I promise! https://www.loggerheadfitness.com/
HEW – Hard Exercise Works- Many locations. I have been to a couple of them including Jupiter and Gardens. Again, they offer 1 free class. Both locations were very welcoming and the workout was wonderful! There’s definitely a sense of community and I really appreciated how they focused on having correct form throughout the workout. https://hardexerciseworks.com/
Coral Reef Crossfit, Juno Beach. So, personally speaking I have only been to two cross fit classes in my life (this being one) and I absolutely loved it! The people were so friendly and I wouldn’t hesitate putting a class or two in my routine. Jon, the owner was so helpful and I felt right at home from the start. Everyone helped me out and I had an absolute blast. All newbies get 1 free class. http://coralreefcrossfit.com/
YOGA Anyone? Thrive Yoga, in Gardens (moving to a new location in Gardens 7/30) has a plethora of classes with awesome times that would fit many, if not all schedules. The instructors were exceedingly friendly and the studio was comfortable and calm. Thrive usually has a Groupon, but if not, they also offer a $49 new client locals special for the month. https://thrivepoweryoga.com/
Hot Yoga Downtown in Gardens (in Florida, that’s like quadruple hot) This class is great! I tend to go to the happy hour yoga on Fridays (music included). I was greeted with a huge warm welcoming (no pun intended) and since I am not a yogi by any means, I personally liked how the instructor observed my form so I could make the necessary adjustments. http://hotyogadowntownfl.com/
Wanna hit the Barre? The non-drinking one of course. I love the studio up in Stuart called Bolderbarre and Fitness. When I leave here, all of the muscles that I didn’t hit that week or didn’t know existed are completely sore! How do those small movements do that? Rita, the owner, is so engaging and her classes are amazing! They have a great deal right now- 2 weeks for $39. http://bolderbarre.com/
Hot Yoga + Bootcamp = The Lotus Loft in Palm City. This is a great class and place to add to your routine. All I can say is … WOW! I also tried a couple of vinyasa yoga classes that were absolutely wonderful. The instructor came and made adjustments, which again, I personally find so helpful. They have some great newbie BOGOs and one-week prices! http://www.lotusloftyoga.com/
Cycling: Krank It Spin in North Palm and Cycle Bar in Gardens are the two in my neighborhood that my friends can’t stop talking about. I have seen a Groupon for both and they have an assortment of first time deals that you can’t miss. I admit- I have never been to either of these locations… yet (again, no excuse)! My blogging partner has been to Cycle Bar and loved the music and said the workout was on point! I’m on my way! http://www.justkrankit.com/ https://pbg.cyclebar.com/
Burn Baby Burn- If you’re in Stuart, definitely check out Burn Boot Camp! They have a gigantic facility, fantastic music, and Gilda, the owner will motivate you throughout your fitness journey. Justine is a wonderful trainer who even takes the time to greet each one of her clients before she dives into the weekly protocol. Each Saturday they have a FREE class for the public and they also offer a FREE 14 day trial. Take advantage of this for sure. https://burnbootcamp.com/locations/stuart-fl/
Title Boxing Club– A couple of locations in the area. Hands down one of our most fun fitness classes. We really enjoy the classes Coach Shawn and Coach Rico teach up in Jupiter. They may have a Groupon running if you’re lucky. The music is fabulous and the personal motivation the trainers give in the classes makes it so energizing! The music is on point and you certainly leave feeling AMAZING! https://titleboxingclub.com/jupiter-fl/
We know that trying out or adding a new class may be nerve racking and may feel like you’re walking into someone else’s “fitness” territory. We promise you this… all of these places greeted us with open arms, will go above and beyond to make any modifications you may need, and will know you by name when you leave. Give it a try and have fun!
P.S. The above prices and deals are subject to change.
