Field Trip… I love trying new places and the Hop Life Brewery in Port St. Lucie did not disappoint! Located on NW Enterprise Drive, the brewery is set in an industrial scene, which makes it really stand out. Inside the taproom, the seating is plentiful, the decorations are enthralling, and the taps are flowing! The story behind the brewery is really cool and being founded by two local guys, makes it even better! I especially enjoyed reading their mission, which is “…committed to crafting fresh, flavorful, innovative and high quality craft beer for the enjoyment of our customers”, which I found perfectly stated and 100% true. I love how their website allows you to view a picture and a little blurb about each one of their beers. They offer $1 off pints and sniffers Tues. – Sun. from 3-6 p.m. They also sell kegs and cans, awesome merchandise i.e. t-shirts, hats…, have live music, really fun events, and offer food trucks everyday out back. All of the bartenders were so friendly and offer to let you sample the beers before they filled you all the way up, which is always a plus!
I happened to pop in on the throw back 80s/90s night and let me tell you, the place was PACKED by 8 p.m.! Their events calendar offers great outings like, girls night out, danes and brews, trivia, in the biz nights, dinners, and much, much more! On Sept. 8th, Hop Life is turning 1! All the more perfect reason to head on over and celebrate. The food trucks arrive at 4 p.m. on weekdays and 1 p.m. on weekend. I apologize I don’t have a pic of my glorious waffle fries topped with pulled pork that were quickly devoured! Anyway, Reds Kitchen food truck offered great pairings to the beers! They also offer a Sunday brunch menu, so definitely check the calendar on the brewery’s website. I know I will most definitely be back and if you’re an establishment that doesn’t have this beer on tap, I would definitely contact Shelia, the brand manager and get it hooked up immediately!
