The Home Of The Florida Growler

Growlers anyone? Look no further because The Crafted Keg (TCK) in Stuart has them! Don’t know what a growler is, well the cliffs-notes version is this: A growler is a refillable glass, ceramic, or stainless steel jug of various sizes used to transport draft beer. The Crafted Keg is located on S. Colorado Ave just before you reach the downtown area. The quaint establishment use to be a grocery store in the 50’s and the exposed brick is absolutely charming! Now, on to the drinkable stuff… BEER! In addition to their average 65 taps, yes, I said 65, they have a phenomenal food menu. Do not leave this place without checking out the TCK bacon brats. Trust me! It’s like their staple go to appetizer. The flatbreads are also colorful and delicious. They also have stellar mac and cheese, baked nachos, stuffed mushrooms, paninis, steak and cheese grilled cheese, and of course glorious meat and cheese platters. Oh and they have bacon on the menu… yep! Pure hickory smoked bacon in a cup. Are you running out the door? Check out the pics:

Now for more beer talk. Oh, and I guess I should mention now that they also have regular beers, ciders, and wine. They were offering an awesome Groupon deal that included a growler and a tasting, so I purchased that and couldn’t have been happier. The samples were hard to choose, because there were so many, but luckily I came to a conclusion and ordered my 5 beers. The coolest thing is the glass cooler from Chicago, it’s definitely an eye catcher when you walk in, and completely adds to the keg experience. In addition to the cooler, is the upstairs loft that is perfect for work happy hours, birthday parties, beer tasting events, and much more! For events, The Crafted Keg has karaoke, bingo, trivia, ladies nights, live music, DJs, Sunday bottomless mimosas, a yappy, pet friendly happy hour, and much more. Check out their up to date event page on the website. Regardless of the Groupon, the Crafted Keg is a spot not to be missed. The service was exceptional and very attentive.
