Before I start this blog I must say that I pass this establishment ALL the time and I genuinely want to apologize to the blogging community because I should have stopped a long, long, long time ago. Introducing… Lola’s Seafood Eatery. For those patrons who actually have stopped at one of the four locations, have you ever wondered why Lola’s Seafood is top notch and fresh? Well according to their website, it’s because it’s flown in from Ipswich and New Bedford Mass. I guess the Red Sox and seafood are both winning these days! So what are you waiting for… do not pass this place up! With locations in Port St. Lucie, Palm Beach Gardens, Stuart, and Tequesta you are bound to pass by one soon. Oh, and I’m not sure when the Stuart location is packing up, but they are moving 2 blocks north to 300 SW Federal Hwy, so make sure you check their site or call. Now can we move on to the seafood please? As soon as I stepped in the Stuart location I was kicking myself for not stopping here before. They offer clam strips, sea scallops, crab cakes, lobster rolls, clam bellies, salads with practically any seafood on it, assorted seafood tacos, seafood bowls, steamers, mussels, quahogs, conch, seafood paella, and much more ocean goodness. I decided on the tuna tacos, and well, they were out of sight! It was the perfect lunch and hit the spot! Oh, they also have a light bar with wine, beer, and soft drinks. Take a look at these fresh tacos and you don’t even have to squint to see the glorious portions of tuna:
Lola’s is going to be a permanent stop on my appetite from now on. Honestly speaking, it’s quite up there on my places for seafood intake right now. The system at Lola’s is easy. You order at the counter and sit anywhere you’d like and they bring your food to you. The staff was friendly and observant. Definitely hit this place up soon! If you’re not a seafood lover and your friends are, don’t worry, they have some non- ocean eats as well. Here are a few snaps of the indoors and out. Have a wonderful time at Lola’s !
