Blog Time: It’s a beautiful Saturday morning, so why not head to the West Palm Green Market? (See our previous blog) While sitting on the inlet dock allowing the late breakfast we just inhaled to digest, thoughts of all those amazing breweries in Boynton Beach that still need a visit come to mind. POOF! Fast forward and 30 minutes later we find ourselves at the Due South Brewing Co.. We are greeted by the Savoury Eats food truck upon entering, which is permanently stationed at the brewery, a quaint craft fair inside, and the satisfying aroma of hops. The huge 27,000 sq ft. warehouse has a few different rooms you can enjoy your beverage in. The main one, which they refer to as their beer garden, has glorious high ceilings and is filled with comfy tables, corn hole, and ring toss. In the next room you will find the taproom where the L – shaped bar has plenty of seating and TV’s. Behind the taproom bar is a separate wine bar. This intimate room looks like an ideal space to host an event. Choosing one beer today was not in the cards, so flights of beer were a must! Due South is always on the favorite tap beer list when we are out and about! Two of our selections were seasonal and the other two were some of their amazing regular taps, Coastline and Category 3. They even host free tours of the brewery on Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m. that are really intriguing and well… they’re free! That means more money to go towards your favorite pint. Oh and let’s not forget about the food. The Savoury Eats food truck hosts a savory (like what I did there) menu that is absolutely superb! Did someone say French fries with blue cheese aioli? Sign. Me. Up! This brewery is not to be missed. With food, tours, events, and of course the beer, this brewery is an absolutely enjoyable place to spend the day with friends (drink responsibly). We love our local spots and with Due South being locally owned and veteran operated, it made for the perfect afternoon to drink local.
