A Slice From NYC, The Windy City, and 8 Mile…

IMG_7784Although happy hour may be easy to find in southern Florida, a happy hour offered EVERY DAY with food and drink specials from 3-7 p.m. and ALL DAY on Thursdays is pretty precious. Presenting… Mondo’s Wood Fired Pizza on SE Indian Street in Stuart. Mondo’s is a wonderful place to gather, have some drinks, and spend a hearty investment choosing the perfect pie. After contemplating many different kinds, the favorite around here seems to be the Detroit Red Top pizza. Take a mouthful trip to 8 Mile and give it a go. From the crispy edges, to the buttery crust, and the iconic square pieces, you will be coming back for more. Let’s take a look at the rest of the menu… https://www.mondospizza.com/menus/ From arancini, Italian egg rolls, fire roasted brussels sprouts, Mondo’s meatballs, pepperoni knots, and grilled octopus, they definitely have you covered for app options! Salads, wings, soups, paninis, burgers, peppers and sausage sub, pastas galore, veal parm, grilled mahi mahi, stuffed shells, stromboli, penne grilled shrimp, and gnocchi al pesto are some of the eats you’ll have to decide on. As far as pizza selections, you’ll be curious to try all, but definitely don’t be weary about adding your favorite toppings to their suggestions. From NY, Chi-Town, and the Motor City… you’ll be intrigued to try a little bit from each city. The one pictured is the Chicago State Street thin with mushrooms. Don’t forget the gluten free pies, the white pizzas, and the infamous grandma style pizzas sportin’ a traditional square cut as well. Specials: Monday: 1/2 off apps and $5 Martini Monday Tuesday: KIDS EAT FREE ALL DAY. Wednesday: Trivia Thursday: HH all day long and live music. #thirstythursday24E08A4D-02E9-40C2-8F99-FF13EC3AAE6F  Sunday: Bottomless Mimosas. Mondo’s offers catering, fundraising events, and if don’t feel like moving from your couch on a rainy afternoon…  They also have DELIVERY! The inside of Mondo’s is well decorated, has a large bar (many local craft beers on tap), and plenty of seating. On weekends, you may be waiting for a table, so perhaps scope out the outside bar for a beverage while you wait. Not only does it have a couple of TVs, a great ambiance, but you will definitely meet some welcoming people such as Stan the bartender. He will surely provide you with a cold one and will absolutely make sure you don’t leave hungry! Have fun! https://www.facebook.com/mondowoodfiredpizza/
