The Stuart Boathouse on S.W. Seminole Street has been in operation since 2014 and provides us with elite year round dining. Not only do they offer us an extensive menu, but the view is one of the best in the Treasure Coast region overlooking the St. Lucie River. There isn’t a bad seat in the house. The vibe is relaxed and has a coastline feel from the minute you walk in. The nautical decor suits the view perfectly and with the water feet away, you’ll feel like your smooth sailing right into dinner. The have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating above the view. Day or night, the sights are impressive.
Let’s start with the weekend breakfast from 8:00-11:30 a.m… from biscuits and gravy, breakfast bowls, Belgian waffles, strawberry stuffed toast… to create your own omelet and eggs Benedict. Please and thank you! The lunch and dinner menus are also glorious offering soups (one favorite – french onion), salads, sushi, and delectable fresh seafood including, but not limited to oysters, scallops, stuffed shrimp, almond crusted swordfish, muscles, wahoo nachos, and grilled octopus. For our land lovers, the Boathouse has an amazing baked Brie and croute app, which is out of site, beef carpaccio, meatballs, wings, loaded mac and cheese, tomahawk rib eye, braised beef short rib, and exquisite and colorful flat breads. The ahi tuna stack was out of sight! Sushi grade tuna along with their homemade chips- nothing gets better than that. It was hard for me to knock down the flawless presentation, but someone had to do it.
