The American Icon Brewery (AIB), located in Vero’s downtown historic district, is housed in one of the most exquisite buildings in the area. The inside is vibrant, industrial, and you won’t miss the main center piece- a 1937 generator from the historic once power plant. Here’s a fun fact: It’s actually Vero Beach’s oldest municipal building and was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. Each beer is handcrafted and is served with the utmost flavorful quality. There is an abundance of styles to choose from so you won’t be left parched. IPAs, pale ales, pilsners, hefeweizens, blonde ales, and of course milk stouts top the list. The staff was awesome to answer all questions!
Happy Hour is M- F 3- 7 p.m. and every night 10 p.m. – close. In addition to beer, the American Icon Brewery also has wine and musically inspired classic cocktails. Sunday Funday anyone? From 11a.m. – 2 p.m. AIB offers bottomless mimosas, bloody Marys, and flagship beers. The menu is attractive and flavorful. From the shareable apps such as the poutine, nachos, pho, wings, lightly battered pickles, pretzels to the glorious beer cheese soup. The pubwiches are eye-tempting and will definitely be tried on our next trip. They also offer pizzas, salads, burgers, and fun sides including truffle fries and crispy brussel sprouts. Save room for dessert… yep, you guessed it! Homemade! There is also burger Monday, taco Tuesday, drink specials (7- 11 p.m.) for ladies night Thursday, and of course football specials on the weekend.
